  • Free bus travel across England for all under 25’s. 

  • Create a £1bn fund for Local Government to spend on youth services, specifically to try and mitigate the rise in knife crime. 

  • Lower the voting age to 16.

  • Extend half-fares on buses, light rail, metro and trains from 12 to 18 year-olds, allowing them to continue receiving half-fares while still in full time education. 

  •  Introduce a Cabinet Minister for Children and Young People.

  • Incorporate The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child into UK law.

  • A dedicated Mental Health Nurse in every publicly funded school, college and university across England to tackle the rise of mental health among youth. 

  •  Legalisation of Cannabis for anyone over the age of 18.

  • Expand opportunities for young people to study, teach and volunteer abroad by returning to the Erasmus+ programme as an associated country post-Brexit. 

  • Free School Meals to all children, between the age of 6 and 18, whose parents are in receipt of welfare.
