Covid-19

  • Include those excluded from government support schemes:
    • Those who couldn’t access the governments Self-Employed Income Support Scheme or the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme should receive backdate payments for all of the support they missed. This would help to boost our economy and to support the self-employed.

  • Government supported sick leave for employees who test positive.

  • Strongly encourage people to wear masks if they test positive.

  • Mitigate the impact of Covid-19 by giving families a £250 voucher per child – paid directly to parents (to spend on activities such as extra tutoring, sports clubs etc):
    • Backdate it to the start of the pandemic.
